what type of filter brand would you guys prefer for a 30 gallon?
im looking for a very good filter for my 30 gallon tank, i want my water to be crystal clear. i am using a cascade bio falls filter 50 gallon and doesnt seeem to be doing the job. tell me any better brands that i can use. and my fish create lots and lots of waste.

I use Fluval canister filters i have the FX5 to much filtration for your tank but a fluval 205 would do the job no problem i have been using Fuval and rena filster for the last 6 years and neither have ever let me or my tanks down just make sure your not over stocked whilst filters do a good job stocking your tank and water changes come into it as well

the quetion isnt wats the best filter for a 30 gallon the question is what is a good filter and go with fluval it keeps my fish water crystal clear liteally
Try Whisper In-Tank 40 filter they don’t hang over the back of the aquarium like other filters do. Its what i have in my 23 gallon aquarium and it works well. The filter is for 10-40 gallon aquariums. There not very expensive either.

marine land bio wheel is the way too go there the best filter ive bought trust me ive bought like almost every brand and none of the others did a better job at leaving my water clear than the bio wheel and its so quiet u wont even know its there if its too expensive use aqueion is the next best thing
